paragiraffe I love arugula.

yeah, this entry’s ending below the fold

Pictures from this weekend:

tree!

First, the tree! It is so pretty. When we found it on the lot, Audra and I danced around to ward off others who might want to get it. Obviously it came home with us.

cookies!

Cookies! I’ve wanted to make these cookes for forever. The recipe calls for cardamom, and the “frosting” bakes with the cookies, and I thought that was really cool. They’re supposed to be snowflakes, but I couldn’t find a snowflake cookie cutter this weekend, so I went with stars instead.

snow!

Snow! It snowed this morning in Franklin, most of the way to Knoxville this afternoon, and it is snowing here now.

It’s definitely Christmas.

Glad to see that you’re trying to take pictures while driving, on slippery roads, while it’s snowing.

I love your tree!! Very very pretty. We’ve never gotten a real Christmas tree … I feel so deprived! The cookies look awesome too, where did you get the recipe? And what is cardamom, besides a fun word to say?
