Next Generation

A while ago I gave up pretending Star Trek: The Next Generation isn’t one of my favorite television series, ever. New episodes of current shows have been few and far between recently, so I’ve been catching up with Captain Picard and crew.

You know it’s going to be a good episode if (a) Data gets some, (b) the battle bridge is involved, or (c) Jonathan Frakes is sporting a beard (he was clean-shaven in the earlier, pajama-uniform days).

Did you know? Patrick Stewart was so convinced that the show would fail that for the first six weeks of shooting he refused to unpack any of his suitcases. Hilarious.

P.S. Yesterday’s entry was number 2000.

Ahh, the love of Star Trek: TNG. I loved SpikeTV when i lived in America as it seemed to be dedicated to that show alone. My boyfriend is insanely jealous of my affections for Jean-Luc.

Don’t forget two other signs that a good episode is incoming…

1.) “Q” is involved.

2.) The episode begins on the holodeck.

Don’t forget it would be a really good episode if Dad got us Klondike bars.

When was it ever a bad episode?

(Okay, I’m biased… I heart Star Trek…)
