paragiraffe I love arugula.

13% Actual Movie, 87% Expectation

American Dreamz
I’ll be honest… I didn’t really care if I caught this movie. I like Mandy Moore, but unlike most of the country, I’m not obsessed with American Idol. (I don’t even watch it at all… I know, blasphemy.) To my surprise, American Dreamz was passable; it made me chuckle, and it definitely wasn’t because of the two drinks I had before going.

Stick It
Oh, commence with the mocking, but I was actually looking forward to this movie. It was written and directed by the writer of Bring It On, my favorite guilty pleasure/teensploitation movie. Alas, alas, Stick It is no Bring It On. The story is weak (and weak by girly movie standards, even), and it relies heavily on one-liners for humor. So disappointing.

The Sentinel
This movie was exactly what I expected, including the identity of the mole. It would have been better with a twist. Can’t complain about watching Kiefer Sutherland, though.

I refuse to see American Dreamz based on them spelling Dream with a z.

lol i agree. anything with “2 u” or “4 u” or “z” instead of “s” is baaaaaaaad.

You’re missing the point with the Z at the end! It’s part of the spoof!
