Pink ribbon

101606-pinkribbon.jpg I’ve been really disappointed with the merchandising of this year’s breast cancer awareness month. Perhaps it was my particularly heightened sensitivity last year, but I just remember more pink ribbon products in stores. I was prepared to drop some serious coin this October! I need socks, pens, jewelry, candles, key chains, scarves, toothbrushes, etc. Mostly socks. This year it’s mostly been food: wheat bread, yogurt, and M&M’s.

Come on, aren’t our breasts worth it? Where’s the stuff?

I know! And like I need more M&M’s in my life.

Publix has lots of things this year… but I don’t think they are in Knox?
You can always make a donation! :)

I work for Origins. For every Flower Fusion lipstick sold (it’s $15), Origins will donate $2 to Breast Cancer Research Fund. But I know what you mean. There’s not a lot of promotions or anything that if you buy X it will donate E to Breast Cancer.
