Ordering online
I’ll admit it, I don’t want to talk to people. I mean, not all people, ever, but it’s nice and often less complicated when you can take care of something yourself. For example, on Friday several of us at work decided that we wanted to have pizza for lunch, so we used Papa John’s online ordering, which is first rate. It shows you all of the specials and all of your options and even allows you to do toppings on each half of the pizza. So, I go through the painless process of placing my pizza request and putting in my credit card. A few minutes later, the closest Papa John’s branch called me because there had been a mix-up with the online ordering and my order had been sent to the wrong store. Foiled!
Even with the announcement of the iPhone, I’ve been planning for some time to get a new cell phone this month. My current cell is old, the battery life is poor, and I’m switching to a different carrier so I can call the rest of my family for free. I went to one of their stores tonight to look at phones in person, and a nice lady tried to harass help me, but ultimately I just came home and ordered online, which was cheaper, anyway. And since I typed it in myself, hopefully they won’t get my name wrong.
Speaking of cell phones, I think if Jack Bauer had an iPhone, he wouldn’t need Chloe at all!
