Hungry
So maybe you’ve seen this commercial, or ones like it.
When Weight Watchers started airing these commercials there was a general outcry on the internets for a Hungry doll to buy. I wanted one, too, but it was mainly because Shaun gets a huge kick out of Hungry. At the end of the commercial, when he’s failed to tempt the already svelte women with donuts, he always says, “Aww! Poor Hungry!”
Weight Watchers obliged, and I got one in time for Shaun’s birthday. Hungry lives over by his desk.
So today I get this email, which says:
Weight Watchers is voluntarily recalling the 6” Hungry Figure and 4” Hungry Magnet in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Two Hungry figures were reported to contain a sewing needle which could pose a puncture hazard.
Terrible news! I didn’t think we’d be sending him back, however, which Shaun confirmed via email.
NO THEY CAN’T HAVE MY HUNGRY!!!
