I went out this afternoon to get screws for my license plate. My license plate did not come with screws. My temporary tag expires tomorrow. You know what? The supposedly standard set of screws will only screw into my car halfway. What? I got them as tight as I could with a screwdriver, and I am just going to pray my plate does not fall off while I search for these elusive, smaller screws I apparently need.
Anyway, the (slightly) more interesting part of my day was when I tried to use my iPod while wearing gloves. It was a little cold in Knoxville today (shocking), so i decided to wear gloves. I’ll let you all know right now: this does not work. I have wonderfully form-fitting gloves, which, frankly, fit like a glove, so I could not figure out why my iPod was not responding. I kept hitting buttons, and oh, I guess you had to be there, but it was freaking hilarious.
My final slight misfortune of the day involves bleach. I did 439.7 loads of laundry this weekend, including a load of whites which I bleached, and thus I had bleach in my backseat to transport over to the laundry room. Some of it dripped onto my left backseat floor mat, and there is a little stain there now. Dammit! My new car. Oh well.

I know my Sony MD player has a hard time in the cold. When it drops below -10 c I have to push this little arm in or it just freezes open. Dammit Sony should know how cold it gets in Ottawa >:(
