mini quiche

22 dec 04

Mini quiches are the perfect food. Here is why:

  1. They are cute. (This is key.)
  2. Depending on what you put in them, they usually include most or all of these things which are good for you (or “on the plan,” if you will): eggs, cheese, meat, and vegetables.
  3. They have a delightful pastry crust.
  4. They are bite-sized, thus requiring neither a plate nor utensils.
  5. They are simple enough have whenever, yet fancy enough to serve at, say, a wedding.
  6. Quiche begins with the letter Q! You can’t beat that.

I have to say, though, pigs-in-a-blanket run a close second for the perfect food.

I have never had quiche…. it looks scary to me.

pigs in a blanket>>> quiche. only peoples on a “low carb” diet would dissagree.

You’re making me hungry.

I’m not the biggest fan of quiche. It has the two things that I despise of all time, cheese and eggs. I don’t eat either of them. I prefer fried chicken. I love all the variations it comes in, especially my mom’s and celebrity chef Paula Deen’s.

I echo what drea said. I began salivating when I read the title of this entry ;)

my mom makes semi-mini quiches for christmas breakfast every year, and has done so for as long as i can remember. egg, cheese, bacon, mini-medium pie crust, and christmas music. what more could a person want??

While I do love pigs in a blanket (pigs in blankets?) to pieces, I have no idea what a mini quiche is. Care to enlighten me?
