Here’s a picture of my car, as promised.
She needs a name. Either something that means gold or something that starts with an L and has an E in it.

Very nice. How about Esmeralda? Kind of a funny car name, although it means emerald.

aurulent - it means “golden in color” and has both an “L” and an “E” in it. This is also true with “flaxen”. But I like “aurulent” way better. While we are on the topic of gold… my brain is gold!

I like to name things after moons in our Solar System; most of which came out of Greek Mythos. Here is my batch of ideas: -Elara -Miranda -Leda -Dione -Phoebe -Ariel -Umbriel -Titania -Galatea -Belinda -Calisto (There are more, but these are the ones I like)

My Corolla is Danny, the Rock-N-Rolla Corolla. But, I think yours should be Lizzie the Golden Girl. Maybe Danny and Lizzie could meet…
(Just a suggestion)

Levitra… though i suppose that might have a certain stigma with it now!

You could name it “luminous”. I didn’t like alternate words for “gold” because they seemed…non-car-ish. But luminous in French is ‘lumineux’ (loo-min-euh), although ‘lumière’ (think of the candle stick guy in Beauty and the Beast) sounds better, even though it only means light.

Perhaps you could call it “Gyllene”, which means golden, in swedish that is. :)
Dano / 17 nov 2004 / 4:17 p.m.
You could always give it a scientific name in Latin like “aurum vehiculum” It sounds like a newly discovered flower but it roughly means gold car.

Lame, I take it? :)
My dad got a car like that once, but its official name was something like “Cabernet Pearl.” Which is a big fat huh?

Lenore… For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels named Lenore - Nameless here for evermore.
Lizzie / 18 nov 2004 / 12:43 a.m.
crystal, who are you?! My name’s Lizzie. I had to stay in the hospital for a few weeks after I was born, and I guess the nurses got attached to me because they started calling me “GG,” short for “Golden Girl.”
So you’re apparently naming this car after me, even though we don’t know each other!
