Today, I was a rebel.
Around 5.00pm, Brittany and I started talking about how much we wanted to leave work for the day. Now, it’s not that we don’t love our jobs, but there’s a lot going on at work right now, and we were eager to start the Thanksgiving holiday (nevermind we have to survive all of tomorrow, too.) Traditionally, the end of the day for us is 6.00pm, and Joseph and Brandon (the bosses!) were away at a meeting. So, we hatched our plot: leave early! It was perfect, and no one would ever be the wiser.
We put our genius plan into action around 5.45pm. Rebels were we! Fifteen minutes early! The world was our oyster.

I didn’t want to be at work yesterday either… so my ‘lunch’ extended a little long and i didn’t hesitate when a fellow employee decided we needed an afternoon ice cream break. I then stayed until 5:30 as per usual though.

At least you have set hours for working. Here was my schedule: Monday — 6 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (with 1 hour lunch break), Tuesday — 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (with 1.5 hour lunch break), Wednesday & Thursday — holiday, Friday — 6 a.m. to … Next week is all 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. What fun for me.

Dear Jason,
I was just thinking the same thing. You see, I came back from my meeting at 5:50 and what did I find? No Maura. No Brittany. No anybody, actually. I was so excited to tell everyone about my meeting, I cried when I could not find anyone. Anyone who makes me cry is immediately thrown into the volcano.

Um… Doesn’t this Brandon character READ this site? I mean, shouldn’t you have at least told your story in some sort of parable format, so he’d be able to ignore it if he wanted to?
That said, I’m jealous.
