nip/tuck

07 oct 04

Dear TiVo,

I love you dearly, and you have indeed changed my life as I was warned. We had some growing pains at first. Okay, that was mostly my fault. As much as I would like to, I cannot watch ten hours of television every night. But I digress.

TiVo, you have the uncanny ability to consistently not record Nip/Tuck. Oh, you make me think you have recorded it, but through some channel changing error, I actually only have the news. And maybe you did not know this, but I hate local news. Anyway, it has happened far too often for it just to be a glitch. Do you have something against Nip/Tuck? It is really a very good show, and maybe if you recorded it once in a while, you would like it.

TiVo, you are lucky F/X plays Nip/Tuck all the time, and I have a few other chances to see it. But if you ever pull this crap with one of my other shows, we are going to talk. With a bat, Office Space-style.

Love,

Maura

Dear Maura,

If you can’t operate me properly, then you might consider some rabbit ears and an old black and white - that seems to be more your speed.

Sincerely, Tivo

I had my mom record Nip/Tuck for me this week because we don’t get FX here. For some strange reason, the VCR decided to not work and not tape it when it said it was recording. It seems Tivo & VCRs alike had issues with it this week, heh.

Thank goodness for downloading. I just finished watching the season finale & whoa. It just made me love the show even more.

I could start a soap just on your love/hate relationship with Tivo.

Maybe TiVo can’t take the goryness of Nip/Tuck. I love this show, but I still cringe like a five year old come operation scenes.
