This week at work, I received the HUGEST MONITOR EVER. Okay, it is just a 19” LCD, but it is the biggest monitor I have ever had. In the little over a year I have worked at my job, I have been the owner of many, many monitors. I always get the new ones. I am special.
When I set it up on my desk, I had to push it back because I could not see the whole thing at one time. I could not see the whole thing at one time! Luckily, it cannot support any higher a resolution than my previous 17” LCD, so hopefully I won’t go blind anytime soon thanks to the extra two inches of viewable area. This is actually pretty important, because my eyes are really, really bad.

We get the promise that we will get an update in two years. I still keep counting the days. We’ve been operating on 10-year-old Macs that the company has failed to update.

I got a spill proof coffee mug and a Canadian flag for my car, problem is I have no car.
Oh I almost forgot the pen with the gel grip (makes me feel warm all over).

I had the option of a small office with a big window and a non-functional heater vs. a bigger office with a window that faces an alley and excellent heat. Except for days like today, when I’m shivering next to the space heater, I think I made the right choice.

I go to school, so I don’t get presents, per se. I do get lots of homework. Also a test on monday. That’ll kick the legs out of a good halloween, if anything could.
