I was talking to my youngest sister, Audra, today (no blog yet, but give her time), and we were comparing “diet” plans, as I often like to chide her about the amount of carbs she intakes (jokingly of course, because she’s eleven). She was kind enough to share with me her secret for her girlish (and I mean girlish!) figure, and I thought I would share it with you:
Sierra Mist and bacon
Apparently Sierra Mist is her favorite drink, and well, bacon has no carbs.
There you have it. Try the Audra plan today.

I’ve been trying that for years except with Mountain Dew and sugar-cured ham. It simply doesn’t work for anyone other than eleven year old girls. I think it has something to do with body chemistry and hormones, but my understanding of science is much like that of an eleven year old girl.

Tell her to patent it, market it, and we’ll see you lot on Oprah.

My current diet consists of coffee and Three Musketeers candy bars. It’s not working.

I have found an excellent weight loss program that I am ready to share with the world.
Eat whatever you want, whenever you want. Then every 2 to 3 months, contract a rare virus or the stomach flu which makes you sick for 10 to 12 days at a time. Repeat as necessary.
It helps me keep my “girlish” figure year round. It also does wonders for the eyes. Dark circles are in this season you know.

Your little sister has a “girlish figure” at 11 years old? We have to see this girl :)
