I bought Wilco’s live album, Kicking Television, today. It came out yesterday. My first thought: why did I wait so long?

Anyway, it’s really good. Not new-studio-album good, but definitely Live at Red Rocks good. I’d like a few more old songs on there, but the ones included are great: “Misunderstood,” “Via Chicago,” “Shot in the Arm.”

“Let’s get this party started…with some midtempo rock.” - Jeff Tweedy, introducing “Jesus, Etc.”

I love Wilco in a way I have never loved a band before. Enjoying Jeff Tweedy’s music is better than a boyfriend.
