turkey wrap

26 oct 05

For lunch lately I’ve been having a turkey wrap. I thought I’d share my “recipe.”

  1. wheat tortilla
  2. thin-sliced turkey
  3. shredded lettuce
  4. sliced red onion
  5. cucumbers (I matchstick-ed these)
  6. crunchy chow mein noodles
  7. peanut sauce

You can find peanut sauce in the Asian section of the grocery store. It’s on the spicy side, so you only need a little. Throw everything on the tortilla and roll up. Serve with pretzels and water (or one of the new Fresca flavors).

I’ve put peanut sauce on stuff. It’s very good.

For example, soba/udon noodles. Mmm.

Gosh, you get to have the fancy lunches. I’m lucky if I get my PBJ sandwich on a different kind of bread.

Anything you can put on a salad can be put in a wrap. I like sprouts.
