Okay, who was disappointed by the Steve Jobs keynote today?
Me!
First of all, Leopard looks slick for the most part, but some of the features (WYSIWYG HTML email, Time Machine) are aimed mostly at your, uh, lower-end computer user, so I just thought it was kind of weird that they talked them up at a developer conference. Also, I’m not happy about waiting until spring. Also, if you ever send me one of those crappy HTML emails, I will smack you.
The Mac Pro. Yawn. It was what I expected, more expensive than I expected, and nothing I’d need/consider buying anyway.
Hurry up and update the MacBooks and MacBook Pros with the new chips, Stevie. I’m ready to buy!

Well, we both know who wasn’t disappointed! Surprisingly it was not his only topic of conversation yesterday (8/7)

I’m upset too that I have to wait till spring! I figured, (like they’ve done in the past) it will be released at the last week of August. But the subtle hint “Sneak Peak” gave me a bad impression it’s not ready to be released. BOOOOO!
And I kinda regret not waiting for the “MacIntel” machine (cause I hate anything that has to do with Windows). I swore to myself not to get one, so I got the PowerPC one, and 3 months later, I liked the hype the MacBooks were receiving, and now I want one :( And it is truly faster than the PowerPC’s.
