The problem with back pain is it affects pretty much everything you do. Even sitting in my Aeron chair all day at work was afflictive. I experience sporadic back pain for reasons I won’t go into here, so you think I’d be used to this kind of thing by now. Last night when I couldn’t sleep because I couldn’t find a position any less excruciating than the last, I started reading up on back pain and, as a natural progression of course, back pain during pregnancy and the pain of breastfeeding, inspired at least partially by Maggie’s post on the latter. This made me feel a little better about my suffering, and I finally found some way to sleep.
I was disappointed about not getting a workout today, but I thought it might be wise not to exacerbate things. The only machine I could have done was maybe the seated stationary bike, which, as we know, burns about as many calories as eating a bag of chips. That’s why they have the cup holder there, for your can of Pringles.

pain isn’t fun! I used to have a ton of it before I had my breast reduction five years ago. now I just periodically check in with the chiropractor. Hope you feel better soon!
