Year End

18 dec 06

I’ve been so consumed by the advent of the holidays that I forgot this is the traditional time to rate your year, the movies you watched, the music you listened to, etc. I was pretty excited about this last December, mostly because I wanted to document what a crappy year I had, with the pie charts to prove it. Pie charts!

I listened to a myriad of new music this year, probably more new music than in any other years. I’m still trying to decide how to rank and/or list these. I read hardly any books. Movies? Well, there was Snakes on a Plane. I made a few resolutions, but the only one I remember went “take more weekend mini-trips.” Ha. Yeah. I was home less than half the weekends this year.

In a way, I’m a little scared of 2007. Odd-numbered years for me haven’t been so great lately, and I can’t complain too terribly about 2006. But let’s get through Christmas first! In the meantime, any original ideas for year-end lists?

Remember that one time we drank Wishneusky Concoctions and hugged each other a lot and said “2004 will be WAY BETTER than 2003!!!!” a bunch? Yeah. That was fun.
