I decided to do laundry tonight, but unfortunately I only had enough money for a dry but no wash. When I need quarters after normal banking hours, I just usually run over to Wal-mart and trade in a ten spot. (Yeah, I know, it’s Wal-mart. But the thing is, when I worked at Target, they’d happy make change for you, and now they act like it’s this huge hassle or they don’t do it at all. At Wal-mart, they thank you profusely for the chance to give you the equivalent value of coins for cash.)
Anyway, I finally got to the laundry room to put my load in, and the coin tray on the machine I usually use was pushed all the way in. It sticks sometimes, so I just yanked it out. And water started filling the washer. Hmm. Apparently the last person who tried to use the machine is weak. And out 1.25$.
So with my ill-gotten free wash cycle, I actually hand enough money to do laundry originally and hadn’t needed to risk my sanity by going into Wal-mart. Ha.

That’s just like all those times I went to a vending machine to get a diet coke and two came out instead.

They’d happy make change for you? Happy? Did you mean happily? Or be happy to? Or were you really serious about them happy making change for you? Are you snorthing coke or something, woman?

Haven’t fixed it yet? What, are you too busy this weekend or something?

Laundry costs me $1.75 per load. I’d be just as happy if I got a free load! :)

Laundry always sucks. What always sucks is when your wash is done but all the dryers are in use, so you have to sit and wait while your clean, wet clothes fester.
