Day One

01 nov 06

seal_yoda.jpg Today is the first day of NaBloPoMo, in which I will post one (1) entry a day until December. I apologize in advance, because some days it will be bad.

NaBloPoMo also coincides with a different holiday, the first of November and thus the first day of the holiday season, an event Emma has dubbed Day One™. We celebrated with Mexican food (as always) and a trip to Target to look at what Christmas stuff they had out (lots). I’m honestly trying to decide how early I can get out my tree without it being embarrassing.

I know I may seem a little nutty, but I just love Christmas, and I’m pretty sure it is for the right reasons. Also, my holidays are going to be different than they normally are this year, so I’m just trying to enjoy it as much as possible.

awww, I think it’s sweet that you look forward to Christmas. I look forward to a month of blog entries by the lovely Maura ;)

I went to Target yesterday too! I couldn’t resist and had to hang just ONE string of lights in my kitchen. Ok and I bought a package of teeny Hello Kitty ornaments. I’m trying to hold out on a tree until after Thanksgiving but I might cave.

I’m happy to see so many of my favorite bloggers doing NaBloPoMo! :D

Why will your holidays be so different this year?

I’ve already started listening to the Christmas music and I’m glad someone else has had the intelligence to name a day that I couldn’t think of. Day One is fabulous and I will be using it from now on.
