Sometime this year I decided my big Christmas present would be a food processor. I have a mini-prep, which is nice for small jobs (obviously), but there’s a lot of things that would be nice to have a food processor for, such as making bread dough, crust for pies, shredding cheese and vegetables, etc. I have a hand pastry blender, but, ah, I could really make some flaky crusts in the food processor.
I knew I wanted a Cuisinart, but I didn’t know if I wanted 11 cup or 14 cup or which model (there are multiple), but I think I’ve decided on this one. It’s large (14 cups), matches my mini-prep, and actually has better customer reviews on Amazon than its newer brother.
Probably you don’t have a preference on food processors, but if you do, let me know.

My “thing” is cleaning devices like swiffers, febreeze, lysol wipes that kill 99.9% of germs (or some really high percentage)— but the only cooking related thing I own is an apple cutter.
