I don’t really like October. It seems to me that it’s just something you have to get through before the more exciting months of November and December. I mean, I haven’t had the best month: example 1, although I did get her back today. I’m surprised AmEx didn’t call me with all of the activity on my card for the rental overage and my deductible. (Cash back rewards on my portion of the car repairs? Yes, please.) Also, buying candy to hand out to complete strangers seems at least on some level completely absurd.
On the bright side, I’ve been working on something new for here this month. It’s not so much a redesign but a whole new site. I’m ditching years of archives that make me cringe knowing they’re out there. There’s this one feature I like in particular. I’ve enjoyed working on it, and I hope in turn it will help me enjoy blogging/writing again.
I do want to carve a pumpkin, though.

I’m getting quite tired of blogging/writing, too. This time I know a redesign won’t inspire me as much so I’m waiting for the semestral break to work on something new!
