Some Christmas music I endorse

12 dec 07

The Carpenters — Christmas Portrait This is the only Christmas CD you will ever need, ever. It reminds me of my childhood and I still love it today.

James Taylor — At Christmas There are few voices better suited to singing Christmas carols. I believe this one will stand the test of time.

Michael Bublé — Let It Snow! Oh Michael, won’t you release a full-length Christmas album?

Sarah McLachlan — Wintersong Few popular artists are able to make holiday music worth listening to. This one is an exception to the rule.

Harry Connick Jr. — When My Heart Finds Christmas “I’m doing my Christmas dreaming a little early this year…” This album has a great, happy, big band sound.

All I hear at work is Christmas music and lots and lots of KT Tunstall. She’s the “face” of Origins, so we play her music. And I don’t mind her music, but I’d rather hear “Hold On”, a non-Christmas song rather than “Deck The Halls” twentyfourseven. Too much, too soon. It’s like decorating your house in July for Halloween. Plain wrong.
