On Monday I was having a rough time getting electric service set up with Georgia Power. On a related note, they offer online services such as starting or transferring electric, but the JavaScript for this functionality is completely inoperable in any browsers but Internet Explorer. Poor, Georgia Power. Poor! So, I called in, and I couldn’t get it set up that way either, and at the time they blamed it on Equifax but now I’m pretty sure it was a problem on their end. I went to bed Monday night pretty frustrated about the whole thing as it was still unresolved.

Then about 12:30 a.m. my power went out. Very ominous!

Last night I was planning for this morning and how I was going to get a few boxes at U-Haul. I needed some packing filler and was going to pick up a few copies of whatever free rag I could find around. When I opened my door this morning there was a newspaper sitting on my doormat. I kid you not! Every once and a while they will leave a paper on the doorstep of all of the apartments in my complex, I guess to get more people to subscribe. (This used to happen all the time on Sundays but missing all the weekly ads. I mean, what’s the point?)

I also picked up another copy from an apartment that I am pretty sure is vacant. Shh! Don’t tell!
