Fogo de Meat

With the recommendation of many and in celebration of Shaun‘s birthday, this weekend included a trip to Fogo de Chão, a churrascaria, which translates roughly to “ten pounds of meat,” I mean, “Brazilian steakhouse.” Various cuts and kinds of meats are brought to your table and served from skewers, all you can eat style, in a wonderful carnivorous celebration. They have a great salad bar and various sides (polenta, plantains, mashed potatoes) brought to your table. Also there are these amazing rolls that are basically croissant bites.

Also, best pork loin ever!

Something I never knew existed is the heady effect of eating too much protein. Even the monster asparagus spears couldn’t offset the phenomenon. Just something to be aware of when you go, because Fogo de Chão is highly, highly recommended.
