My mum and my sisters and I went to see August Rush today. This movie has horrendous reviews on Metacritic, but I’d say it’s at least a 55. There are some terribly cheesy moments, and Robin Williams so sold out and is so terribly miscast, but you could feel okay about Netflixing it 6-12 months after it’s released on DVD.

My friends and I went to see the sneak preview last Saturday. It was so disappointing. We were hoping it’d be the movie of 2007, but it failed completely. Ugh. I did love Keri Russell in “Waitress” though. :)

If they rated trailers on Metacritic, the August Rush trailer would be at least an 85.

The local paper here gave it 2 of 4 stars.
