I’m not sure where I originally read about this idea, but I’ve been trying out AB lists on my weekday evenings. This is kind of a black hole for time for me, because I usually just want to sit around and do nothing. If I have some things in mind, though, before I walk through the door, sometimes I won’t be such a couch potato. So far, keeping each list to two things has worked. If you don’t know, AB lists are actually two lists: the A list, which are must-dos, and the B list which is lower priority items. You can even throw a C list on if you want. Here was today’s:
Definitely not getting to C!

Oh here’s mine.
A - cram for finance exam
B - watch The Hills
C - laundry
Only B got done.

I’d never be able to keep so orderly.
I usually walk around with one giant list in my back pocket.

I did laundry last night. There’s some cleaning I should probably be doing tonight. Instead, I’ve been on my computer most of the night. I don’t think a list would help me get anything done…

This appeals to the list-maker in me in a major way but I could get to at least K right now with no problem.
