This weekend Emma came to visit, and we partied like it was 1999, and by that I mean we pretended we were in high school, which is funny, actually, because Emma wasn’t even in high school in 1999.
On Friday night we saw Jimmy Eat World at Center Stage, which is actually a very cool, pretty intimate venue. I think Emma has been waiting to see JEW in concert since she was seven, and I thought they put on a pretty good show. (Related, I thought their new album was mildly disappointing.)
On Saturday we thought we’d see a few bands at the BOA Super Regional prelims. Oh, we are nerds, but I don’t think I’ll be doing that ever again.
Anyway, I’m glad she came. A good time was had by all.
