This summer, I have decided I am absolutely, positively going to get these hypothetical sandals I have wanted for years. Let me tell you a little bit about them. First, they are comfortable and can be worn all day at work and for a night out without problems. (This also means they must have little to no heel.) Next, they are strappy, made of (black) leather and if they have buckles or the like, that hardware is dainty (no Birkenstocks). They must have some sort of ankle strap to where they are fastened and cannot be kicked off. Ideally, I could wear them to work with skirts or with shorts, so chunky soles are out.
A Indigo by Clarks Hydrangea
These fit the bill and are relatively inexpensive as well. I kind of figured I would be getting Clarks for the comfort factor. They are well-reviewed.
B Sofft Rena
These are cute. I am not familiar with the brand.
C Naturalizer Blowout
I really like the look of these, but no one has reviewed them yet!
D Timberland Katriel
Kind of similar to above, I like that they are all black.
Or, any suggestions you may have!
A or B. I would go with B because, to me, all black = dressy. Also, i like the way the straps criss-cross, but that could be annoying if your feet swell a little in the summer. No to C and D because they don’t look too dainty to me.

So I think I would go with the first one. They look really comfortable, and have really great reviews. The second pair looks like it could get extremely uncomfortable around your pinky toes by the end of a long day. I agree with Denise about the last two options - they don’t look so dainty. (However, if I had to pick them, the third option is way cuter than the last one.)

I actually think I like the naturalizer ones best which is weird because whenever I think of that brand, I think of older ladies playing bridge.

I vote A on a combination of sexiness and apparent comfort. Plus, black goes with pretty much anything.

I’ve had some Indigos and they really are fantastic. Spend good money on your dream shoes, Maura, it’s well worth it! Especially because it’s not like you’re dropping tons of cash on Manolos every weekend or anything. ;)
